David Nolan
Founder & CEO
InsureMe Global was founded by David Nolan, who brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector. David has held senior global, regional, and local roles, including Vice President of Corporate Development, Regional CEO, Regional Commercial Director, and President Director & CEO.
David’s career highlights include establishing greenfield Bancassurance businesses with General Electric and Genworth Financial in Poland, Turkey, Slovakia, Hungary, Colombia, and China, achieving $150M in production within three years.
He successfully led commercial turnarounds in Trade Credit Insurance and Surety with Euler Hermes, overseeing over €600M in Gross Written Premium (GWP) with the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria), where he negotiated the Warenkreditversicherungen Schutzschirm during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring continued business operations for large businesses and SMEs resulting in a €30B state guarantee.
Additionally, he led the Euler Hermes Northern Europe region (including the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Russia) to the highest sales within the Group from 2012 to 2015.
As President and CEO of Allianz Life Indonesia, David oversaw the Life, Unit Linked, Health, and Sharia Business during Covid 19 obtaining record monthly sales with >40,000 Insurance Agents with #1 Customer NPS while rebalancing the product portfolio and successfully identifying the market opportunity of the Sharia Spin-off.
He was a member of General Electric’s Information Management Leadership Program, working in the United States, France, and Germany.
David began his career with Dell Computers as a Systems Analyst.
He holds a postgraduate degree in Business and IT from the University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a BA International from University College Dublin and Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule, Aachen. He is fluent in German and Turkish.
